Imagined Forest

On Labor Day last year, I went down to Art in the Pearl in downtown Portland to support some fellow irish musicians performing there. While having a look at the art, I came across Jim Brown's spot and really liked what he had. The problem was, I didn't really have a place for it at the time. Well, I did but it wouldn't have really fit or looked very good against the beige walls. That is until I painted the den !

Came across your site while doing a Montavilla search. Just had to say 'hey' from one Montavillian urban pioneer/old house owner to another. Nice to see the neighborhood finally beginning to pick up (been here 13 years).

I think I can place your house. Mine is on Hawthorne between 76th and 80th if you ever want to take a gander. Just look for the big concrete porch!

Goddess-
Thank you. I think I like that picture a little more everyday

McKate-
Hello neighbor! Yes - you are so right...the neighborhood is FINALLY picking up. I've been here 12 years and the improvements are exceeding my expectations. I've probably walked by your house several times.

If you walk by again, give a wave. You might even catch me out front wasting that good reservoir water on my new lawn. :-)

Looking forward to following the rest of your projects.
