The new chandelier from Hubbardton Forge in Vermont arrived yesterday. Based on the comments from my mom, dynochick and one Ted Morgan, the result is a simple cast iron 8-light chandelier. This does it for the dining room remodel for now. There's nothing more and it feels great!
I'm not a big chandelier kind of guy, but that actually looks really good. Congrats, Joe, on getting one job done and done well. I envy you.
ReplyDeleteThe chandelier is just perfect. Pefect scale and the upward curving arms direct your eyes to that wonderful ceiling. Dining room gets an A+.
ReplyDeleteThe dining room looks great. I haven't been browsing many houseblogs lately, so I just saw the posts about the new dining room table. Looks awesome! Great job on the whole project...
ReplyDeleteVery nice. Ive been to Vermont many times and loved it there. Driving and crisscrossing the state, there are woodworkers, metal crafters... you name it creating works of art right out of their shops.

Wow Cathy, I just read that article and I'm pretty much blushing. It makes me want to start another project now!
ReplyDeleteI still think dynochick is the smartest dynochick I've ever known, and will fight anyone who thinks otherwise. Wanna try me?
